O-Challenge Play

Oscraps challenges have changed a little this month with more rotation in the works for the future, so before the BIG party happens tomorrow, for our Back-To-School Scrap-O-Thon, I wanted to get my layouts finished for each of the challenges for September! (At the end of this post I’ll show you a little of what’s starting tomorrow with the image at the left being my new forum avatar for the party!)

Challenge No. 1 – COPYCAT September 2012
My own challenge this month features a template based on Kym’s page entitled Sweet Moment. For this I’m scrapping my cousin Tori as she’s playing in a little fabric tunnel at my grandma’s.
Challenge No. 2 – CREATIVE TECHNIQUES September 2012
Ona always brings a great tutorial to the table with her challenge & this time is no exception. She’s getting us into Blending this month & I’m using the tips to create a silly layout with my puppy Charlie when I dorked him up on his birthday in March.
Challenge No. 3 – WEBSPIRATION September 2012
I always find the images Chris chooses for our Web-inspiration challenge to get me thinking. Sometimes literally like this time around with a colorful flower. Though the photo was more moody, I wanted something fun & chose to scrap my cousin Savanna.
Challenge No. 4 – JOURNALING September 2012
Typically I have a hard time with Journaling challenges, but Selena picked a topic this time that I instantly could relate to. We were to pick something that was a new adventure in our lives & since I’m helping out at a local shelter now, (since June), I thought it would be a perfect fit.
Challenge No. 5 – THEME September 2012
Linda, with the help of Jacqueline, wanted us to dig into our past with a Heritage style layout. Also asking that we possibly challenge ourselves to ask a question. Since this photo is taken in my own backyard 101 years ago it seemed fitting to remember it here. Who knew that my family would still be on this farm 100 years from then?
Challenge No. 6 – OSTASH September 2012
Our last challenge is from Laurie asking us to grab Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, & Something Blue. I chose a favorite fastener from “Chasing The Sun”, a new kit by Paislee Press, borrowed a page design from Nini, & blue from Savanna’s clothes & recoloring the wordart.

So that’s what I was doing tonight in wanting to free up my scrapping time for what’s coming next!
Join the O-Designers & my fellow Cheery-Os tomorrow for the excitement.
Happy Scrapping!
