Inspire | 52 Fridays: 1

Though I didn’t set out thinking I would make any Resolutions for 2013, I guess I DID want to try a few projects this year. I keep adding things to my personal “to-do” column like:

  • Continue Doing My Project Life
  • Blogging Each Weekday For January Blogging More
  • Committing To A Thursday Photo Plan
  • Starting This 52 Fridays Project

And I’ve publicly stated one of my Creative Goals in 2013 over at Liz’s blog today, (Paislee Press). It can be noted each of the above resolutions(?) all fall into that category of finding my voice.

The idea behind “Inspire | 52 Fridays” is to get out & shoot more. I always say how much I miss nature photography since graduating from RIT & I’d love to add it back into my life.

To pause and appreciate.
To see something new in something familiar.
To inspire.

I hope to talk talked my brother into taking part, in a written medium rather than photographically, as he’s the one that has a way with words. I created In-The-Now for him little over a year ago & love the idea of pairing my photography with his writing & way of thinking. For this Friday, since I was wishy-washy on starting another project, I’m on my own. Here’s what he wrote for this first Friday & I’m in charge of the photo inspiration.

  1. I love seeing others getting motivated in 2013 to challenge themselves with their photos! I decided to do a 52-week project also! Your idea to pair imagery with words is lovely. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Happy 2013!
