Project Life – May 14th-June 3rd

I’m getting a big post up today for my last years’ Project Life memory keeping, & hopefully a few more posts all this week to get closer to getting my blogging caught up. As far as actual recording, I’m caught up through Christmas & hope to get those 2 weeks till now finished later this week.

I still love this project.

I still think most of my life is boring.

I’m learning to love all that comes with it.

I’m learning the seemingly insignificant isn’t always so.

I have a life worth saving & remembering.

I LOVE this project.

I’m going to try to keep my words short & share lots of photos. So with that! Here are the rest of my May, beginning of June, 2012 spreads, (featuring the week that meant my second album held one month less than my other two so far because of LOTS of inserts!):

May 14th-20th

This week started with a checking out of our hotel & 10 hr drive back from my sister’s graduation in Ithaca, NY & ended with an 8 hr drive back that way, Rochester, NY, for my last RIT graduation for a friend. In between…trying to catch up on PL after my grandma’s funeral put my mind elsewhere, dealing with the goofy dogs in the studio, getting my hair highlighted for the first time, enjoying the last of the cool spring weather and long nights, & another of my friends heading to Indiana to make the drive to Rochester with me.

May 21st-27th

The FULL week-SEVEN inserts!! This is my first real vacation that I’ve recorded using Project Life & the first spent with my college friends since we all live so far apart. LOVE that this project kept my camera even more handy than normal.

My inserts this week show the parks we visit during our time together, graduation & the programs that come with it (Bill Nye was the speaker this year), receipts & business cards from the places we went or ate, & saying goodbye to Rochester. The tiger is a fan given out at commencement to help the heat in the gym.

This week ended with another LONG drive. This time to Chicago to meet up with another friend who couldn’t make it to graduation. Along the way we stopped at Indiana Dunes around sunset & it was STUNNING! So really…A FULL. AMAZING. Much needed week!

To say this week rejuvenated me would be an understatement.

May 28th-June 3rd

The last of my social time was this week so I savored it to the fullest. We spent Memorial Day in Chicago before coming back to the farm in Indiana. Who needs sleep when you are soaking in as much sightseeing & company as you can? I included lots of tourist photos & tried to get myself in as many photos as I could + included photos around the farm with my so-not-country city friend. This week also meant the end to my 366 day photo project of Charlie. I adopted him on June 2nd 2011, & took a photo of him EVERY DAY until June 2, 2012. (Or had my brother take a photo when I was away.) The beginning of June was for trying to get back to the normal every day programming.

Sorry for the LONG post. I guess I didn’t keep my words as short as planned, but these are some of my favorite weeks for Project Life so far!!

Savoring it all!
