Project Life – September 10th-30th

Hello again September of last year. We meet again!

“We do not remember days, we remember moments. Too often we try to accomplish something big without realizing that the greatest part of life is made up of the little things. Live authentically and cherish each precious moment of your journey. Because when you finally arrive at your desired destination, I guarantee you, another journey will begin.”

I didn’t do anything crazy for the following three weeks in terms of techniques, so I’m going to keep my words short. I did print or make a couple 3×4 cards with quotes for a couple of the weeks, but mostly just stuck with photos, words, & project life core cards.

This week was full. Filled to the brim & amazing. A professional ball game, my cousin’s soccer game, lots of appointments, baking, & celebrating my twin cousins’ 13th birthday at my house. Lots of inserts & lots of memories that I’m so happy to have included.

The next picture I just wanted to show the Avery 2 Inch Index Tabs that I use for my inserts. This was a tip that Ali Edwards posted last year that I thought was a great idea to help define the smaller insert pages in the middle of spreads.

Another plus of working with 3-4 weeks at a time instead of just 1 is that it makes using different styles of page protectors so much easier since I can print both sides at one time & be sure that I’m happy with my choices & with the photographs I take each day. Before I had a hard time wanting to use the 6×6 since I didn’t know if my photos the next week would be good enough to print larger.

Again nothing crazy this week. Cut up a sports program, printed a 3×4 quote card, added a screenshot of work, & included a couple business cards. Just another beautiful week recorded.
