Project Life 2013 – 2.01-2.10

I still can’t believe I’m finally sharing my 2013 pages from my Project Life scrapping! I’m posting a lot lately, I know, because I want to get this blog caught up so I can share more recent pages closer to actual calendar date. (At least I’m now in the current year, right?)

This is the start of my Volume 4 album which will cover the dates of February 1, 2013 – April 30, 2013. Yep. Just 3 months in this one! These months were packed & kind of amazing in my life in their fullness.

This album also marks the start of me subscribing & receiving the Studio Calico Project Life Kit that I’m pairing with all my Project Life Core Kits & other scrap products.

As always, a new binder volume means a new title page and this time I used “Dayplanner” by Paislee Press & One Little Bird for that & my spine label. I pick the title page plastic layout based on how many photo spaces I still need to document the first week of the book. For this one I had a few extra things I wanted to include, so I cut up the 6×12 photo to go into the 4×6 & 3×4 pockets.

February 1st-3rd

Like the end of January, I spent the majority of my time this week with my Grandma organizing all her photos from the 80’s & 90’s. One of the fun Studio Calico cards for February was about Groundhogs day so I included that. Also a note my Grandma left for me on her table one day, (I love her handwriting), I stuck in a pocket as well.

February 4th-10th

This week was crazy busy! My sister graduated from Officer Training School for the Air Force so my grandma & I, (known as “The A Team” to Gayle), made the long drive to Alabama to watch that ceremony. In addition to my own photos from the occasion, I also included an insert of photos of her from Basic Training that they provided her. And I wrote about the places we ate since I thought it funny that we did all chains even when we said we wouldn’t.

Weeks like this with memorabilia are one of the reasons I’m thankful for this system of scrapping.
