Project Life 2013 – 3.11-3.24

March this year was so beautiful, calm, peaceful, and filled with family, friends, & puppies.
I’m still so grateful that I started this project especially when yet another family member passed away during this time. Without doing this I might not have taken a full family picture at Christmas that included her & I wouldn’t have a place where I could look back to & remember.
On a lighter note & more scrappy note, I’m in love with the variety of adding Studio Calico Project Life cards & embellishments with my other stash of cards.
Anyway, check out these two weeks from March 2013!
March 11th-17th
Do you ever wish that the programs from events you attend matched the overall color palette of a page? I’m probably the only weird one thinking that way, but since this week was St. Patrick’s Day week I still stuck with the greens even with a bright blue program.
In addition to the Studio Calico Project Life cards I also printed a card from “How It Began Journaling Cards” by One Little Bird that I felt went with my design.
March 18th-24th
During this week there was another death in the family. She was an artist & her place was filled with her paintings that her family wanted to preserve as a collection before they got distributed out over the country to different people. Though she wasn’t “technically” my Grandma, I still wanted to create a special insert for her with her funeral info & a few of my favorite paintings of hers.
The other inserts are some extra photos from my brother & friends out shooting & the first invitation to my cousins wedding that we had in Hawaii.
I didn’t notice until just now writing this post that I have a similar photo in the bottom left corner of both spreads. The puppies are getting bigger! Love this!
Happy Scrapping!
