Project Life – December 10th-30th

“When it comes to memories, the good and the bad never balance.” ― Jodi Picoult

I’m almost to 2013 with my Project Life sharing!!!

One of the things I noticed today as I’m photographing & posting these 3 weeks from December 2012 was that our first snow fall last year was during these weeks & this year it was a full 2 months before that! I’m kind of scared as to what this winter will bring!!

I love including these weather changes in Project Life to compare year to year.

December 10th-16th

This week I received a fun card in the mail from my dog…yes…Charlie apparently sent me a card for Christmas & still, a full year later, I don’t know who actually sent this secret card. Maybe this year I’ll get a hint on that front as it really brightened my day & I’d love to thank them officially.

Also I included the newspaper this week, a 4×6 memorial card for Newton, Connecticut designed by Cathy Zielske, a photo of the computer screen as we watched my sister officially become a lawyer, a movie stub, a thank you card that flips up to read, & another funeral program for another great-grandmother that passed away like last week.

December 17th-23rd

I thought it would be fun this week to include a photo from the front page of the paper as well as a comic about the end of the world. In future years it might be interesting to look back on this day. I also have a couple other Christmas cards as my inserts.

December 24th-30th

It’s Christmas week!!! I added a few plain gift tags & a few actual tags from gifts as my inserts this week, (including one of my sister’s since she likes being added in my albums whenever she’s home). I didn’t have too many traditional Christmas colors without the gift tags, so I thought it a great fit!

I used a few Studio Calico cards & Ormolu tags as well for a more Christmas-y feel.
