Project Life – November 26th-December 9th

Just another couple of weeks from last year on the blog today!

These pages mark a full year recorded, (I started December 1, 2011), & now blogged, with Becky Higgins’ method of Project Life. (Obviously I’m now coming up on two years with December 2013, but I haven’t shared any of 2013 yet.)

“The things we do outlast our mortality. The things we do are like monuments that people build to honor heroes after they’ve died. They’re like the pyramids that the Egyptians built to honor the pharaohs. Only instead of being made of stone, they’re made out of the memories people have of you.” ― R.J. Palacio

I also wanted to note if there is ever something about my spreads that anyone wants to know more about just ask & I’ll share if I can!

November 26th-December 2nd

This was the week that included Christmas In Our Hometown if you want to see more of those photos in better detail.

I have an insert which has some of the photos I took of local dogs as a fundraiser for our shelter, a giftbag from one of the ornaments I bought from a friend, & a couple of the 3×4 cards from Press Cards No. 18 by Paislee Press.

December 3rd-9th

Another week and another death in the family this year, so I’ve included the program from the funeral & a clipping from one of her arrangements. I have to say I’m thankful again to Project Life because it gives me a place to remember my family. It gives me a place to look back on. I’m just sad that this is really the only time of year we’d see each other, so in many ways it’s a regret, but also helps me remember the bright spots at Christmas time that we’d visit her.

In addition to that insert, my mom, my cousin Candy, & I saw “Little Women” so that program is included as well.
